I’m Cliff and this is my loving wife Cindy. God blessed us with a son. His Name is Caleb and he is now 7 years old. Then He blessed us with a daughter. Her name is Carissa and She is 6 years old. Then once again He blessed us with twins this time. Charity and Crystal were born in april 2004. Charity was a happy, healthy baby. But her sister Crystal was born with a hypoplastic left heart. After having three surgeries and spending 5 mouths in the hospital we were finally able to bring her home. Then just after their 3rd birthday Crystal got really sick and went into the hospital again. The sickness had weakened her heart and she needed a heart transplant. She waited in the hospital for a heart to become available. Then at the end of October she had her transplant and was recovering well. On the 9th day after her Transplant she had acute rejection. And then other complications. She and the Doctors kept fighting for about a month. But it was to much for her and she passed away on November 29th 2007. Now you must be asking why am I sharing all of this with you. It isn't just so that you will get to know our family better. It isn't to get you sympathy. We tell her story because there are other hurting families out there that need support. We are trying to do what we can to help other struggling families. So if you know of hurting families or if your family is hurting right now then we would love to here your stories. There is much healing that comes from talking. And we believe that asking for Gods help through prayer will be the greatest comfort of all. And we would love to join in prayer with you. We also believe that much comfort comes from studying the Bible where you will find the answers to all of life's questions.
It's a touchy subject...in fact, I've only written four little words so far, yet I'd be willing to bet that some type of reaction already came up for you, didn't it?
It may be good, bad, happy or sad - shocked, thrilled, scared, invincible, angry, jealous, nauseous, anxious or ecstatic...but SOMETHING happened as soon as I brought up the topic of M-O-N-E-Y.
And I can virtually guarantee that it was something EMOTIONAL. As you continue reading, remember that I emphasized “emotional” - because it will make a lot more sense to you shortly.
