I am an obsessive , a fan of Lee Keating who added me to this site and a fan of Dusty Springfield amongst many others. I draw Dusty for my own enjoyment and in aid of charity - The Royal Marsden Cancer Hospital. I have a myspace page called Dusty Springfields shadow , shadow because of where we both lived (i have an obsessive fascination for the power of coincidence), shadow because I follow her story and shadow because of my background picture. My musical tastes were quite rigid but became fairly eclectic under the influence of the songwriter and, playwright Ms Keating. She opened my ears to music. Dusty Springfields music is great in its own right but it couldnt have been done without the help of her backing singers . So I set up a club called 'GLADYS' , appropriately named because Dusty used it when she sang back up . This is just a collation of my artwork, views , sometimes serious , sometimes fun and do not reflect the views of Dusty Springfield unless specifically stated. I am also a fan of Annie Lennox and particularly admire her continual efforts to help worthy causes such as the SING project. She is an inspiration to me . So far since Ive been on YUWIE , since September 2007 i have earned just over 6 dollars LOL. By the end of the year 2009 I want to reach at leat 20 dollars .
