I used to be an avid writer but as of lately..well, let's just say my lips (and paper) are a bit parched of the creative juices. I guess I've become complacent and a little overwhelmed with my current (very complicated) situation. I am hopeful that as my situation improves so will my "dry spell".
I also love singing, (karaoke...yeah you can laugh). I'm not "American Idol" material..but I'm not exactly cat gut either. I'm a little disappointed that the only places (in my area anyhow) that offer this sort of entertainment are bars. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good bar once in a while...but it seems to be the only form of entertainment in this town. (yuk)
I love art and photography. I am in no way shape or form good at physical art. (i.e. drawing, painting, sculpture) I do enjoy art museums, and would not be so hasty as to pass on an interesting new exhibit. I feel life is rather fleeting at best...and one must fill it with as much "stimulation" as possible. I love photography. I find myself wishing to become more involved in the art myself...unfortunately until I get some extra money..it is off the table. (my old camera came to a very unfortunate end a few months ago) I'm looking at a 10x op zoom camera at Wally world..but it costs a couple hundred dollars. (which, at the moment, leaves it off limits)
I would love to be involved with Obama's campaign if he becomes nominee. (I'm keeping my fingers crossed) and being a big pain in the ass of our current administration (state and local boys not excluded), collecting sed politicians form letter responses (boy those guys get really personal...), fishing, searching the world for waldo...(where is that little jerk anyways?)
