I've posted this here as pictures don't seem to appear in my blog.
Balance; the key to ourselves .
The triangle, symbol of manifestation. It is earmarked throughout ancient esoteric tradition and is the key to many doors if you like, not least 3D, third planet from the sun yada yada. So when Light and love come together in perfect balance a spark is created and we have Life. This can also be perceived as masculine and feminine properties of creation.
Here we are, a trinity of heart, mind and soul. The key to consciousness of, communication with the higher self is a balance of heart and mind, which again can be perceived as masculine and feminine properties. If heart and mind are not balanced we are influenced by the illusions of ego or emotion. One may lead us to think that our intellectual knowledge is truth - Light, the other that our feelings are that of unconditional Love. Experience and study are tools that can lead us to Light and Love but they are not what we seek to attain, only the means to it.
Duality! Now speaking in Tarotish for a moment this symbol is associated with the Magician and his tools - mind, it kinda represents his wand, drawing down higher energies to manifest whatever down here. Other cards represent the feminine, fertile ground, darkness or the moon in the sense of mystery. So feminine and masculine must work together in harmony, two different tasks but both are vital to each other. One example is the grid and the love that must resonate through it, the reconstruction of some and the healing of other parts.
I waffle on about this aspect as we are in peril of rejecting the masculine in this new feminine age - heart overcoming mind etc. Whatever way we look at things we are dual in nature and so balance is the key to unifying all.
The symbol of perfect material manifestation. Known by many names such as the star of Atlantis, seal of the gates, seal of Solomon, star of David etc. It is most commonly linked to Hebrew traditions but then this old language and philosophy came from Egypt and the mystery schools anyway. They in turn were educated by others - say no more! Basically it is the unification of duality, higher and lower energies woven together.
On a personal level for us it may mean that we manifest on the ascended Earth as what we are or wish to be at any given moment.
Mystic, Wizard, Lightworker, Ancient Elemental, Seer, Artist, Poet, Author, Guide, Guardian are some of the labels that identify aspects of me.
Western Astrological sign:
Sun in Taurus, Moon in Pisces, Leo rising.
Eastern Astrological sign:
Year, month and hour of the Snake
Druid Astrological sign:
The willow, in which the snake guards two eggs. In more ancient traditions it was a phoenix that guarded these eggs.
Egyptian Astrological sign:
Horus
One day a pilgrim of the mysteries was walking along life’s path, perhaps lost, perhaps lonely. S/he sat on a fallen tree trunk in the midst of a great forest and watched myst swirled for a while, it seemed to touch all things in this peaceful place as it flowed through ferns and around trees, even if it was a little creepy at times!
The pilgrim sighed "I wish the myst could speak, I am sure it would know a way." And then s/he was a little startled as it felt like a soft hand brushed the pilgrims face, but there was no one to see, or, or was there? "odd" said the pilgrim looking around "I think I will go that way", and the pilgrim headed off along a path through ferns that s/he hadn't noticed before, though the fact that myst seemed to be following did not escape the pilgrims attention.
I am Myst, perhaps just a story.
"Phoenix, hear my heart's desire.
Fill me with renewing fire.
Renew my body, mind and soul.
Loving Phoenix, make me whole.
Keeper of the Fire of Creation
Represents death and rebirth.
Transformation and Regeneration.
Protector of all fire.
This being gives hope in the midst of despair.
Helps you transform your life into something purer
and brings you closer to spiritual awareness.
Call upon the Phoenix for strength and renewed energy when facing trials of life.
Symbolizes the Sun, dying every night to be reborn with the dawn.
The Chinese believe that the Phoenix has been sent to Earth
to help the development of mankind. Known as the Feng-Huang.
The Phoenix is a traveler
going through the inky vastness of space;
it can take mortal form when it wants to --"
An old school mystic. I grew up in an old mystical family and began to study the mysteries in earnest at the age of 18. Though the studies offered by an ancient mystery school all felt like so much revision. Indeed my grandmother soon stepped in from ‘the other side’ and showed me many things that helped me to remember who and what I am.
That I had studied all this so many times before, through the ages of man, the ages of Atlantis, Lemuria and other civilizations before man walked the Earth. Before then that soul had known, realms beyond this one. I remembered much and when sight was taken I remembered how to see without these eyes, for how we see and who we are is deeper and more beautiful than mortal eyes yet behold.
Though I thought myself to be soul, and this physical self nothing but a means, a vehicle of experiencing this illusion of life. Today though I embrace the duality, though this mortal expression of myself may loose its physical cohesion at what we call ‘death’ it will be immortalized as part of my whole ’I’ and while it has free will my lower consciousness is a big part of ‘me’, who I am, it is my emissary as your ‘person’ is to the soul that you are.
I do not subscribe to philosophies that reject the senses, that state in order to find yourself you must abandon the physical being, because we are here to experience, what we need to do is understand the senses including those that have been forgotten by many. We, higher and lower consciousness, need to relearn how to be one, to be a complete experiencing being.

Music:
I like many forms of music other than what I call chaos music: Jazz, Punk, Death Metal and such. Life is chaotic enough without filling the mind with such influences, but each to his or her own! I prefer the music of artists such as Enigma, Enya, Loreena Mckennitt, but will wander through Black Sabbath, Led Zep and other old school heavy metal and rock bands, rap, indie, folk, classical etc
