Welcome to Yuwie! Here are some helpful hints for making the most out of Yuwie:
1. Accept all friend request. Friends will visit your site and rate your layout and leave you comments. It's always a good idea to return the favor to your friends.
2. Put a picture of yourself or something you like to help personalize your profile like an animal, actor, actress, art painting, drawing.
3. Choose a layout from the top of the Yuwie toolbar and customize your page. I personally like the ocean and beach but you should choose something that you enjoy and tell others about you.
4. Add a blog. Blogs are a great way to tell others about you and what you like to do besides Yuwie. Do you have a hobby or are you a sports fan or did you just find $1000 in a shoebox? Tell us about it and post a notice on the control board so we can learn about your new blog entry.
5. Join a club. Lot's of people join clubs on Yuwie and you will find clubs for everything: sports, making money, ebay, hobbies, and more. Join several and you will find that the friend requests will start coming. I have added YIFF club below so you can click and join now. Remember to accept all friend requests. You can always remove a friend later.
6. Comments and ratings. If you visit a friends page you can rate them from 1-10 and leave them a comment. I will always leave someone a 10 profile rating when I see something unique and interesting. Leave a comment for a friend and most likely they will return the favor. Kindness goes a long way!
7 Be creative. I've added a link below to YuwieJunk where you can find fun and creative comments and layouts for your page. Be unique and let your new friends have fun on your page.
8. Have fun! Visit several friends pages and you will see some cool ways to customize your layout. They might have a map, music player, slideshow, or fireworks that you want to have too. Ask them and I'm sure they would be more than happy to help you find them.
