I do not have any however, I watch racing when Dale Earnhart Jr is running. I watch golf when Tiger Woods plays.

Heroes/Idols:
There are many. My father (Thomas Christopher); General George Patton; Col Charles Wingate; Col Blake McIlwain; At my age it is hard to be inspired however, Jim Haslitt, Robert Swain, Thomas Trombley and Robert Hurley are great to converse with. When I think of good folks, I remember my lieutenant, Steve Featherston and my forward artillery observer lieutenant Jim Schlottman. When I play golf I think I can mimic Tiger Woods but for the most part, it ends up being a joke on me. One of my heroes is my wife. She has been my soul mate for 50 years. So I should probably say, she is the one I most admire. And then of course, there is my mother, Kathryn Christopher. Both my parents are now deceased but I will always remember them as hard working, caring parents. I would like to make mention of one, Max Taylor, who I observed making himself better and better. Max is a very dear friend who will always remain so. And then there is Dewey Reeves. He was my pal when we were stationed in Germany, and he has remained a pal all these years. I cannot leave out John Collins. He has been with me, even when apart. So, when one mentions heroes, or who one most admires, it is a difficult question and one that cannot be answered easily. There was also, Doc (my medic) Geoffrey Koper. He obeyed me endlessly in Vietnam. A great soldier and friend, or, just another one of my kids and he shall forever remain so.
