You make money by using Yuwie? NOW YOU CAN SAVE EVEN MORE MONEY! Just switch off the standby of your TV and use energy efficient light bulbs (up to 80% less energy use) and ride your bike to your friends etc.
My aim is to create awareness to people because I believe that many still do not fully comprehend the seriousness about this subject. Many people heard about the topic on the surface and think combating Climate Change will be a financial burden for them.
They will see it is not.
In fact I believe it is a chance to destruct the current energy monopoly and therefore create many jobs in new small industries. It will give new wealth to otherwise poor or strongly dependent families. It is just logical that an economy will benefit from such a change. Unfortunately there are many powerful energy lobbies who would tell you otherwise. I would too, if I would be a big company with a lot to loose.
It does work. In Germany a very persistent community did win a court battle against a major energy supplier, and bought of the energy grid from them. Now the whole little town can simple make their own (green) energy and even sell the rest! VERY SMART COMMUNITY!! This just shows that it is possible to save money, sustain the environment and be independent from a price increasing monopoly. Lets save money and the world, by using energy saving light bulbs, insisting on and buying hybrid cars (or at least no 4WD if not necessary), buying only energy efficient housegoods, turn off the standby over night... For more look at my blog with further links to information.
