"Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. And I am Caesar." –Julius Caesar
I have many interests. Swimming, camping, boating, taking trips both local and abroad. I love art, dancing, playing and listening to music. [ I play guitar and piano ] Taking walks in a "warm" rain, having pool parties, BBQs, snow-tubing and visiting with friends and family.
On my professional Side:
I'm a disabilities rights Advocate/Activist for Eyes Wide Open International. My father is Founder and Chief Executive. My job title is Administrative Consultant but my job duties take on many different forms, from gofer to studying laws concerning government policies/activities. I'm fluent in ADA, 504, IDEA, etc...with a bit of help from Dad. I have some disabilities myself so government policies effect how I manage to cope with daily living, and millions of others with disabilities worldwide. I'm here on Yuwie to make friends, socialize, and bring awareness/information of what I feel is important to my country and the world. I feel that knowledge is self-empowerment and the Internet allows us to learn from one another, and stay informed of whats happening around us. I didn't come here to advertise or make money, nor will I allow members to use my page for that purpose. I will consider it spam and delete it. I've brought many of my friends here to Yuwie from other social networks to make friends, socialize, learn and to help with the building of this social network. My wish is for Yuwie to be a fun place to come and make friends, exchange information and views, and not simply a spam site. I will never try to sell you my ideas/opinions. Please respect my hard volunteer work and offer me the same. THANK YOU and its great being here with all of you!!
Sports:
I don't watch much sports but I like the Olympics and modern dance. I do Yoga and lift weights for endurance, not mass.
Music:
The hummm of my computer, the TV going in the background, and my dog chewing a chew-toy. Actually...I like the oldies. Rock-N-Role, Blues, some Jazz.
Movies:
I like too many movies to just pick one, but I like comedy the best. The Adams Family...one of my favs....silly! Its so stupid its funny! The last movie I can think of watching is I Robot. Cool special effects!!
Save The World - One Click At A Time!

I like many books but one of my favs in memory is Call of the Wild, of course when I was 12...ha ha!. Its cruel in parts but thats the way it was many years ago, and it shows the true spirit of the wild dog. Last book: Teaching With the Brain in Mind...by Eric Jensen. Everyone should read it!
My hero is my Father because he's always been there for me. My Mother passed away when I was 8, so he has had double shoes to fill and has done a great job of it.
Quote: "Remember that now, as it has been at every point in our nation's history, if it were not for the dedication of the few, the vast majority of us would not enjoy the rights and freedoms we do"
