| The Big Bailout Fannie Mae and other Financial Banks and Companies |
| For years the common man has been getting the shaft. From insurance companies, loan companies, banks, government, you name it. They made tons of profit which made them even greedier. The companies who made all that money and convinced congress to pass the new version of bankrupcy laws not long ago now want us to bail them out. Oh really?
Why should we even consider such a thing? If you lost your business, did they bail you out? If you lost your home, did they bail you out? Gambling is what it is gambling, they gambled and lost. Send them to gamblers anonymous, not back on vacation by bailing them out with our money.
oh, they are too big to fail? Disastrous results if we don't bail them out? Its disastrous to bail them out! Setting a precedent of bailing out big business just because they are big business is not too bright. Break them up into smaller companies and sell them to the highest bidder, put a stop to these monopolies and this problem won't be happening again.
Whatever happened to our laws against monopolies? No wonder our economy has gone south. Competition makes for sound policies. We need to open all aspects from cable companies, news media, and up to oil companies, up for competition. there is no real competition so we get shafted.
That makes our presidential election even more important with our economic system on the rocks. Please get informed if you live here in our United States. Don't believe the "news media" research for yourself.
The line is just beginning, so lets put a stop to it now, not later. We can't afford this bill. talk about wasteful spending and earmarks! Seems we did something like this before with the Chrysler Corporation, should have let it go the way of former car companies, like Studebaker, American Motors, Hudson Motor Co. and the rest. We survived them just fine. And look whats happened, still making gas guzlers, importing foreign parts not caring about improving mileage, other types of engines that do not rely on gasoline, diesel, biofuels.
You reap what you sow. Suck it up and take it like a man is my advice to these companies like fannie mae and others lining up for a government bailout. Its your turn to take the shaft.
