6dgr is a new social networking website that pays members and promotes financial responsibility. 6dgr actually pays people to develop their networks of friends, family and business associates, then helps them manage their newfound wealth! As well as providing all the customizable fun and useful features you would expect, 6dgr is dedicated to giving members a chance to make money - real money, not just a few cents - from their own activities and the activities of the networks they build by referring new members.
What is my potential with 6dgr?
Everyone has 10 friends... If you only invite 10 friends and they do the same and their friends do the same, you will already have 1,110 people in your direct network (3 degrees deep). You will have already earned $2,340 in cash.
Well then how do I get paid?
When you create your profile, you will be asked to pick the person or event that directed you to 6dgr. By linking people at sign up, we create a natural network of referrals. You are compensated on the number of people that sign up and become Active under you, then under them, and under them. Basically, you are compensated for 3 levels (or 3 degrees) of people below you. You actually get paid when you and anyone in your network decide to participate in the 6dgr Network and Activates their account.
How much do I get paid?
6dgr members get paid two ways:
1) When you invite your friends, 6dgr will pay you $4 for each friend that signs up and becomes Active! In addition to that, each member is paid $3 for each person their friends sign up who becomes Active, AND another $2 for each person signed up by their friend's friends that becomes Active! If you only have 10 friends, you can make thousands of dollars! Imagine the potential for most people who have more than 10 friends! We are not trying to get 100 million people here but rather create a place where 10 million cool people can have fun and get paid.
2) Active members are also paid a residual amount every month! Have you ever heard of credit card companies offering cash back? The same principle applies with 6dgr, except the percent given back to you is much more significant than a share of one person's spending. You are paid a percentage of each individual's monthly earnings for your entire network. This can amount to hundreds or thousands of dollars in residual income every month for an individual member!
Let's use the 10 friends example: 10 friends that invite 10 friends that invite 10 friends, all earning about $100 per month on 6dgr. We, just like many other companies, earn close fees on all spending that occurs on the debit and any future credit cards. The 6dgr patented revenue system takes some of our margin and uses this to pay members for their network's spending. In the example above you would end up having 1,110 friends that each earn $100 a month, and based on present deals you will make approximately $0.20 cents per person per month. This means YOU get about $222 per month paid to you via your preferred payment partner account.
So I basically get a cut of the Affiliate commission paid to 6dgr? No. 6dgr does not pay its members part of any Affiliate commission. Furthermore, there is no direct relationship between signing up for payment method offered on 6dgr and earning a fee. Each member is compensated on referring members who become Active and on the spend of those Active members, NOT for activating any specific bank account or debit card payment method. The 6dgr patented revenue management system takes into account many factors when determining the actual earnings of any individual member. The system is proprietary and offers members both a one-time member referral payout and a monthly residual percentage of 6dgr member earnings.
So how and when do I get my money?
6dgr has several Authorized Payment Partners. The partners have been chosen based on several criteria, but the two most common are free to 6dgr members and they allow 6dgr to direct deposit members' earnings. There will be one Authorized Payment Partner each for checking, savings, and debit cards. Right now we are transitioning away from WAMU free checking because of the uncertainty in the financial markets, and have yet to replace it with another checking account.
We have the AccountNow prepaid debit card available, and next week we will have the eTrade bank savings account as well. For the remainder of 2008 the 6dgr revenue cycle is run every 2 weeks with your earnings deposited onto your selected Payment Partner for the prior 2 weeks' referrals.
I already have a checking/savings/debit account, why would I choose these accounts?
Each of these partners are the ONLY Authorized Payment Partners for 6dgr. We have direct deposit in place with these Partners and only pay into these specific accounts. Additionally, these products will help you manage your newfound wealth, pay your bills on time and earn interest so you can make more money on top of your FREE money! If you already have a qualifying debit card with Account Now, or savings account with eTrade, you do not need to sign up for another to become active. Simply enter the details of your existing account on PayMeNow. Note that, in an effort to promote financial responsibility, we allow you to have one of each class of Authorized payment partner account (for example, a pre-paid debit card and an interest-bearing savings account) and to choose what percentage of your earnings is paid into each account.
Will 6dgr offer any other products or services?
Over the next few weeks, as the total 6dgr network grows and gives us the power to negotiate great terms, we will be introducing many new opportunities, from health insurance to travel to credit cards. Every time you, or any member of your network, signs up for or subscribes to or buys one of these products or services, you and they will get paid - and some offerings (such as credit cards and some insurance products) may even have residual income month after month. The exact payments will vary and will be used as inputs to the Revenue Management System.
How secure is 6dgr and do you store my personal info?
6dgr only keeps online the information you allow your friends to view. 6dgr partners with banks and debit card issuers to offer these financial products and your personal information is stored by these Authorized Partners. The 6dgr patented Lie Detector feature provides security settings that no other site has been able to create. Each member is assigned a percent accuracy rating based on the information they enter on the PayMeNow page. Users are then able to set their tolerance of who can view their page or be their friend based on this rating. For instance, if Joe has a 60% accuracy rating based on our verification service, as a member you will be able to see this and restrict communication from Joe. You can set this preference through your Account Tab just like any other settings.
Someone told me that other social networking sites are going to pay members eventually. Is this it?
We don't comment on other sites, you will have to investigate them for yourself and draw your own conclusions. We believe that our unique, proprietary and patented business model allows us to pay our members the most money possible and we are confident that when you compare us to other sites, you will agree!
This sounds too good to be true. Who pays for all this?
6dgr does. Our patented and proprietary Revenue Management System allows us to pay members a specific amount for referring members into your network.
What's the minimum age?
The minimum age is set by the minimum age to get the financial products, which is 17. And we designed the site to be for adults anyway.
What's that mean, For Adults?
Most of the other social networks allow anyone to join and have to protect children from adult content and predators. We wanted this site to be edgy and allow cool people to post what they want and not have to worry about kids.
How edgy are you going to make the site?
We want the site to be for the fun, adult people in the country. So we expect there to be some nudity and crazy pictures, etc. We will not allow anything illegal like child pornography or cruelty to animals, etc. Also, any x-rated stuff will need to be marked private and not for public consumption.
Can anyone see my profile?
It is totally up to you. Each profile has the ability to be set to private viewing for friends only, or can be public for anyone to see. The choice is yours.
Can others see my mobile number?
No. Only you can see your number. You can allow your friends to text message you, but they cannot see your number, and only you choose who has that ability.
So what do you do about fake profiles?
When a member becomes active we are able to validate the information on their profile against the information provided to the account provider. This goes a long way towards eliminating fake profiles in active members. For other members, if you find a fake profile, report it, and we will investigate. While we would prefer all members to be genuine about their identity, as this is essential to building a community, unless someone is hiding behind a fake identity for malicious or illicit purposes, we are unlikely to banish them from the site, but will more likely strongly encourage them to improve the truthfulness of their profile. If you use phony information on the site, other than you used to sign up for a financial product, we flag the profile as unverifiable data. We also take advantage of the patented 6dgr Lie Detector here. This feature allows the member ultimate control over who is allowed to communicate with them. The member can set their percent accuracy rating tolerance as high as 100%, thus restricting communication between his or herself and any member whose information cannot be verified 100% by our financial partners.
Is 6dgr for personal use only or business use as well? Do you have groups?
6dgr is ideal for both personal and business use, and yes we do have groups. You can belong to groups the same way as any other online network. We also have a group structure that is designed to allow legitimate groups to have their own space. For example, we have a structure for universities that goes like this: University/Your university/fraternity/local. We have them for High Schools, Fraternities, the Military, Fishing, Hunting, etc. Each of these groups can be either private or public. If they are private then you can post anything you want. An example would be if you have a frat party and want to post pictures, you and only members of that group can see them. You might want to consider running the group because in order to join a group, you have to join the site. And you can have people interested in joining the groups join under you as a direct referral, thus extending your network. By creating a group for your business, you can create your own space where customers and partners can come for exclusive deals and inside information. This is especially ideal for businesses because you can earn referral income and residual income by promoting your 6dgr profile or group to your customers and partners and enticing them to sign up under your sponsor name to have access to those exclusive deals and inside information.
