| The Reason why for the Second Time I get LOCKED by Yuwie. |
|

Yuwie locked my account on Friday afternoon. I was replying messages
from friends when suddenly there was a message on my notebook screen
saying “you can’t send any message… your account has been locked…” The
reason for this was my One-Billion-Page-Views message I sent to most,
if not all, of my friends. Yuwie said it was a chain letter and sending
it was a violation of the Terms of Service (TOS). I contacted Yuwie to
apologize for my ignorance of the TOS and assured them I’d never do
anything to violate it again. Because of the weekend, my account was
only unlocked Tuesday morning my time. I was locked 3 days.
TO ALL MY FRIENDS
WHO RECEIVED THAT MESSAGE FROM ME, I URGE YOU TO STOP FORWARDING IT TO
YOUR FRIENDS WITHOUT DELAY. DON’T LET YOUR ACCOUNT BE LOCKED BECAUSE OF
IT. Please delete all your incoming and sent messages containing this.
I’m awfully sorry for sending the message to all of you in the first
place. I didn’t know it was considered a chain letter, but even if I
did I would have sent it to you anyway because, to be honest with all
of you, I never even looked at the TOS, let alone read it.
For
three days – Saturday, Sunday and Monday -- I prayed fervently for God
to arrange for Yuwie to unlock my account soonest. I missed all of you,
my dear Yuwie friends, very much. I praised God when I read Yuwie’s
email this morning that my account had been unlocked. But along with
the good news there was a stern warning from Yuwie that “if your
account is reported again for spamming it will be deleted
permanently…” (or in a wording to that effect).
I thanked God
for the revelation! One of you, my dear friends, has actually reported
my account to Yuwie for spamming. My understanding of SPAM was that if
you send a message to someone you don’t know, that’s SPAM. This
revelation taught me that if you send a message to someone you know,
and that person doesn‘t like the message, he can report you for
spamming. I think I can say I know all of my Yuwie friends, even if our
meeting was only online.
That was my “life in the flesh”
talking. My “life in the spirit” tells me to bless the Yuwie friend who
made the report about my message. Just for the record, I was not the
author of that message. I received it from one of my friends who I
presume must have been a member of Yuwie much longer. And according to
the replies I got from several friends, this effort to increase page
views has apparently been going on for quite some time. So I really
feel blessed by God for being the one who got reported. Because this
enables me to advise all of you to just forget about it. If you receive
a similar letter from another friend, please ignore it. Don’t run the
risk of your account being locked, it ‘s not worth it.
And my
friend, who reported me to Yuwie, I hope and pray you read this blog. I
want you to know that I’m very happy you did what you did. As I said, I
want to bless you for your noble act. I pray that God will bless you
abundantly so that your Yuwie membership will bring you lots of
happiness, health, success and prosperity.
