| Are YOU ready for Web 2.0? |
|
Web. 2.-0 has suddenly become this big buzzword, and there appears to be some confusion about it.
The fact is, if you are here on Yuwie, and able to use its features, you're pretty well ready for Web 2.0.
You don't need any more complex software than the browser you are already using, with java and flash enabled and the ability to read xml and rss feeds. Your browser as likely as not already has all that stuff working. Is your site ready for Web 2.0? Well, if you have the means on your site for users to participate, if you host rss feeds, if your site is interactive, then, yes, it's already part of the whole Web 2.0 experience.
So, what is Web 2.0? Web 2.0 simply means using the web as a platform for communication and the participation of those who use it. It denotes such phenomena as wikis, forums, rss feeds, blogs, etc. Any site in which users participate, submit content, share content, and communicate with each other, such as Yuwie, is, by definition, at the very heart of Web 2.0.
So, stop worrying about it, and, above all, don't get raked in to scams offering to upgrade you to Web 2.0 for your hard earned cash.
The only updates you need are the ones that your browser likely automatically installs, and, in all truth, if you are here participating on Yuwie, you've already installed any such relevant updates.
You're ready already.
