One of the basic skills I think is absolutely necessary to start earning online is learning to create your own splash pages. These are one page websites that focus on a benefit that leads to a desired call to action. If they are unique, it adds to the impact.

If you get templates already done and just add your own lnks, you can have one up and running in minutes. Adding videos is simply pasting in the embed code from YouTube, a 2 minute job.

If you do want to get deeper into the creation process, look at http://W3Schools.com

Learning just the basic tags can give you a lot more freedom.
