FIRST EXPERIENCE OF ONLINE BIZ!

In the beginning my motivation was a desire to make money for a secure retirement. Since my plans for a retirement without worry has gone up in smoke, I decided that if it was going to be, it was up to me.

One of the things I learned this month is getting the attitude straight is a good way to start in an online business. You have to feel that you can do it, survive the ups and downs and remain committed.

There are lots of cd's and programs that include the motivational aspect in their program. The fact that some business opportunities want to train is a good sign. Those sites that hype in all sorts of different colored inks, magic markers, and testimonials are generally a waste. They suck up the money, sell more stuff, and sell more packages and you end up with less money than you started.

The best sites are complete with autoresponders, capture pages, training, prewritten ads, and other info you need to be successful. It isn't enough to have a capture page and tools; you need a product that people want. E-books are in the millions. You can have traffic but the site needs to have something that people want to sign up or buy.

It is very difficult to put it together when you are first learning the terms: autoresponders, traffic, urls, tags, key words, click. pay per clicks. and other "moon" works. It slowly sinks in what these terms mean and every day it gets easier. Most of the gurus do not remember what it was like in the beginning and do not break the information down.

A good sign is if the person creating the program or product was successful and wants to "help" other become profitable. The kick becomes to help others. In this economy of lost jobs and real suffering, I hope that the internet can bring some income to regular people. If not it is just another rip off. I remain hopeful. I think to surround myself with positive people help, (thanks Kenny), is vital. I believe that I will find my way.
