Hello all,

sorry to have been inactive lately but we've been through some fairly big changes.

Some of you may be aware I was made redundant in October 2008 from a job that allowed me a lot of freedom and travel thoughout the UK. It was demanding work, so losing the job was not a total catastrophe. In the following 10 months I had a lot of time on my hands to devote to Yuwie, Twitter, and other online activities.

I have been a Yuwie member for over two years and throughly enjoyed my time here.

Recently I was asked to take up a job I last did 20 years ago, namely double-deck bus driving. I was a bit wary at first and needed some familiarisation but I am now committed to making a success of the experimental route I am helping with.

In short it doesn't leave a lot of time for online activities and I am publishing this blog here in the knowledge that it will also show up in my Twitter timeline,.

I think the Twitter connection is one of the better innovations introduced by Yuwie.;

So please don't think I've vanished off the face of the earth, or I'm ignoring you! The real world is demanding much more of my time and attention!
