Note: I really struggled whether I should post this blog or not for a couple days as I am afraid of possible repercussion to any mention of this sensitive subject. Please bear with me as I try to make a point without causing harm to our beloved network, but the problem may be spreading.

I've been reading a growing number of blogs that have been copied (with permission and encouraged by the author) and reposted by well intentioned and concerned (but misinformed) Yuwie members asking other members to join in an action that likely constitutes a form of 'kl1k phrod' (Mispelled intentionally for good reason, a search engine may pick up this topic's actual spelling and this could be hurtful if anyone advertising here would read this and panic - thinking this was a widespread problem here even though it's not!).
To first understand how serious an offense this action might pose to Yuwie, you must do a search for the above mispelled phrase but spelled correctly if you can figure it out. A good place to read about this would be finding Wikipedia's article on the subject.

If you can still follow my point with this (I am sorry, I know this is not as straightforward as I might like it to be, but I hope you understand why I am posting it like this.) then you by now may have understood what damage that sort of activity could do here!
This action if not stopped immediately could cause this social network great harm.

My hope is that this warning may be in time to educate our well meaning members to cease this action as a way to help Yuwie, and to let Yuwie work it's way through this growth period on it's own merits. I am guessing that Yuwie will do just fine given time and a chance to develop naturally, and we as members can help by just doing our part without taking that sort of 'shortcut'.

In closing, let me ask that if you have figured out the topic and are moved to reply to this blog that you DO NOT use the correct spelling of the above mentioned phrase to keep a low profile search engine - wise. I hope you understand why I ask this of you, as with your help we can put an end to this misguided attempt to help Yuwie right now, before it becomes an actual issue.
Also please don't copy this blog post, but if you think it's worth sharing that's great - those of us who really enjoy 'our' Yuwie will thank you for helping correct this by doing so.

UPDATE FOR CLARIFICATION:
After having re-read this post I see a need to try to explain my topic. There are some Yuwie members advocating that every member on Yuwie 'engage' (kl1k) random ads here on a daily or even hourly basis whether they are interested in the ad or not - in a misguided attempt to help Yuwie's RSR!
This is NOT a good idea, it is going to give the advertisers false results to their advertising and drive down the ROI for them. This will eventually have the opposite effect that those 'helpful' few who are advocating this think they are accomplishing. NO ONE will advertise here if this continues!
