Apparently, if you are at the age of 60-65, you can work to reduce your tax debt. (link)
On the surface, this looks good. For some reason, however, it reminds me on how people would sell themselves into slavery to pay off debt.
Okay, maybe it's extreme, but think about it. The state starts to charge more than people can afford to pay in property taxes. As the economy plunges, and more people get behind in property taxes, is it really a stretch to think that all but the rich will be working for the state?
Better start making money - and fast!
