I wasn't sure if blogs would allow me to post music videos but I wanted to share some of my favorites. I would post the lyrics too but there is not enough room in the blog. This song is by FlyLeaf and is the acoustic version of the song titled: 'Cassie' It is about 2 girls that were killed in the Columbine shooting because the shooter asked them if they believed in God and they said YES! The first girl was asked: 'Do you believe in God. He pointed the gun to her head and she still answered YES. She was shot & killed. The same thing happened to the other girl except she survived the 1st shooting. The gunman then asked her again and she still replied YES!

Here is the link to the video on youtube. It won't let me it here. sorry. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCMvQrp8zoI

WOW! I have so many. I have to say my favorite Christian bands are FlyLeaf, Casting Crowns & Skillet. I have their music on my playlist that is on my page. I love their music because it is real and they don't hold back with their lyrics. They let the truth be known. Their lyrics are extremely powerful. As far as secular music... Hmmm. It seems that the Lord has drawn me away from alot of secular music. I used to love it but now I have noticed that it irritates me and I notice the horrible lyrics more now instead of just the nice beat.

Petra has probably had the most impact on my life as they have been around long enough for me to have grown up with them. Only the drummer is among the band members from the 'Not of This World' days. As for my favorite song, that is a tough call.

Secular, that would be Rush, '2112'.
