| The Beast Of Sipadan |

Here's a story I wrote sometime ago. Comments are welcome. The Beast Of Sipadan Part 1 When he opened his eyes, he was lying on the white sandy beach. He did not know where he was. The sky was dark. It was going to rain. The cold wind from the sea blew his dark curly hair. He wiped off the sands from his face. His hand hurt. There was deep gash on his left palm. A black bird, perching on an old tree stump was watching him, silently. His body was aching all over. Painfully, he got up and limped slowly towards the woods.
Suddenly, there was a loud thunder. A blue streak of lightning struck a tree just a few meters in front of him. Bright lights blinded him temporarily. He shielded his face with his arm. When he felt it was safe, he lowered his arm down cautiously looking at the place where the lightning struck. A branch had fallen off the tree and it was smouldering.
The cold wind had gathered speed and was blowing smoke away from the tree. It was turning into a storm. Then the rain began to drop, slowly at first, then heavier. He was so cold. He stumbled on, dragging his wet tired body through the woods. He had to find shelter soon or he would die in the rain. The rain got heavier until he could not even see beyond three footsteps in front of him .
Then he saw it, a faint glow of light and the shape of a small house. It looked like a house. It must be a house, he prayed. He trudged on, without letting his eyes off the light. He was afraid if he stopped looking at the light, it would disappear. The light seemed so far away even as he trudged faster towards it. It was as if the house was running away from him. With only a little energy left, he forced himself to run to the house. Then he fell. There was no more light, his eyes could see nothing. He felt nothing and hear nothing. He blacked out.
