Kucinich presented the articles to an empty house, they were put into record because legally they have to be voted on. Most the accusations are baseless. Clinton was actually impeached but retained office. It is just a formality that a liberal Congressman felt the need for. At this point it doesn't really matter a lick - whether you are for or against Bush. That is why the media, CNN, Fox News, MSNBC aren't reporting it. If it had any credence, it would be all over the news.

By the way, Clinton wasn't impeached for having an affair, he was impeached for lying before a grand jury. That is a no-no.

True (about Clinton) but I do feel he never should have been put in that position to begin with.

That may have be the 'official reason' why Clinton was impeached. The real reason was that the Republicans decided that they were going to go to any extreme possible to get Clinton out of office, or at the least keep his hands tied so he couldn't do anything they didn't like....

Because of the Republican agenda against Clinton, for example, we don't have universal health care like every other industrialized country in the world. Result being that many people have to forsake health care...

Sure hope this goes somewhere. We listened to the whole 5 hr. thing. I don't see how this can continue to be ignored. Sure wish Dennis Kucinich could have been our next president. But since he can't I'm for Ron Paul. Listened to his speech last night & it was awesome.

Hi Dorsi,

A Bush Impeachment? Turns out again that it was wishful thinking. Should have it happened? I believe it should have at least been pursued, an investigation conducted to see where it went. We were duped during the run-up to Iraq (along with numerous other things). Bush and Cheney both used terms like 'facts', 'knowing about x' and so forth; all terms that gave the impression they had something more than what turned out to be lousy intelligence.

The real problem, the US Senate Intelligence Committee released a report regarding the intelligence community's information on WMD & Al Qaeda links in the Fall of 2002. The conclusion of that report - there was as much intelligence stating no WMDs or Al Qaeda link as stated that there were. If I used that same approach to under or misinform my clients about pertinent information that ended in contributing to a loss of life and money; I would be expecting law suits and criminal charges. It makes no sense.

Jim
