Well, I'm 49 years old and not afraid to admit it-

I love animals (I have 3 dogs and 5 cats- the last cat by default but she gets to stay- I'm such a sucker)

I can be silly as all get out, but I can also be quite serious- ( I guess that's because I'm left and right brain balanced) I'm creative, and am a great friend with lots of integrity (so I've been told!)

My best buddy my dad Jim (RIP) was a chief in the navy and served in World War 2 on the USS North Carolina. His ship was in more battles at sea then any other ship in Naval History- he was in the Pacific and Guadacanal- and was the first battleship to sail into Pearl Harbor after the attack...

My mother Mary (RIP) met my dad while he was on leave in WW2, and they were married for 60 years.

I have 3 boys, the youngest 2 are 21 and 22 and have given me a run for my money ( I have a 2 wrinkles in my forehead)  because of them....

I'm California born and raised and I'm living back in the house I grew up in (it's good to be home!) - in the good old San Francisco Bay Area.

Quite an interesting place to grow up- I remember Haight Ashbury in the sixties and seventies during the love and peace movement, the riots during the Vietnam War days in Berkeley, the night my brother came home after seeing the Beatles in San Francisco, the devastating Loma Prieta earthquake (7.1) that hit on our fault in 1989, the dot com boom and bust in the 90's and early 00's- the Rise of Silicon Valley (which we live in) and the growth of the rap/hip-hop movement in neighboring Oakland- so many many things- a veritable incubator for fresh and creative thinking...

I am also an artist and a writer, but I'm still not sure what I want to be when I grow up...lol...

I've been in advertising for over 20 years, 13 of those in business with my partner. We're about to hang up the towel on a brick and mortar business and then.......

( Being in business for yourself is alot of hard work, don't let anyone convince you otherwise!!!)

I love Rock and Roll, I love to keep abreast of world politics and climate change, and I'm a sucker for conspiracies.....

I love to garden, almost to the point of fanaticism. I call my backyard my "laboratory", if that gives you any clues....lol....

I'm here at Yuwie to make friends, minister, and build another business at the same time. If the business part does'nt work that's OK, I'll still stick around. Genuine friendships are the gift of a good life.....

( but hey if you can socially network, and make money at the same time well then "more power to us", right? )

I LOVE GOD, HE'S THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME. WITHOUT HIM I'D BE DEAD BY NOW, FOR SURE!!!

That's me in a nutshell. I'm actually a whole lot more complicated than that but I'll save the rest for my autobiography...lol.....

I have so many stories to tell I'm not sure there's enough time in the world to tell them all............

But this is a start, huh?

(Oh and by the way, I make lots of layouts for Yuwie users. If you want a new layout go under my pic and you'll see them there under layouts. And the slideshow on my page- that's some of my artwork in Adobe Illustrator CS2- I ususually work in other mediums but Illustrator has been my newest medium)
