The Healing Powers of Emu Oil
I had been suffering from a rash for about 4 months. It began when I wore a new sweater that I had bought. Within a couple of days, I had a rash around my elbow area. It definitely was some chemical in the sweater that I was reacting to. Over a period of several weeks, I continue to ignore the problem. Finally, I had to go to the doctor for another problem and told her about my rash. She said it looked like contact dermatitis and she prescribed Triamcinolone acetonide cream ( it 8x more powerful than prednisone). Within days, my rash was gone from the elbow area but had traveled down my arm. The area affected was now a lot longer and wider.

Since my son had been sick with severe gastro-intestinal problems, I have been using different natural supplements on him with great success. I decided that I needed to try something along those lines for my skin rash. When I went to the local health food store to buy supplies for my son, I asked the owner what they would recommend for the rash. They told me to try emu oil. It was in a small bottle for about $11.00. I took it home and started applying a few drops on my rash every day. At first my rash looked uglier and redder and I wasn't sure the oil was helping at all. Eventually, 7 days later, the rash was completely gone. The oil acts as an anti-inflammatory as well as a deep moisturizer. I was amazed. Now I am using it on my cracked heels and it is working on them too. I am wondering how many other natural products are out there that give this kind of result. I am a believer!
