It says that my town isn't haunted but we do have a haunted bridge. We used to have a house(mansion) down the street from where I grew up. It was used in the Civil War for a Union hospital. It was very haunted according to the people who lived there. But it got torn down in the 70's. There are a lot of other famous haunted houses/hotels/etc. here in Tennessee including the Bell witch. A movie was made about it but I can't remember the name of it right now. This was very interesting. Thanks for posting it!
well info on my town is right, although... it's all in a hospital, i have never seen anything go wrong with it at all and i've lived in this town over 12 years XD but ty for sharing hehe
Every time I come to your site, I end up being there forever lol. This didn't help. I found several places where I had been that hauntings took place. Some I have been to were not mentioned such as a house on Peck Road in Hilton, NY, that I lived in. IT must have been a woman spirit because in the morning when I went to the kitchen, she had rearranged my dishes in the cupboard. Also in Stone Mountain, GA, they speak of different hauntings but fail to mention that the KKK was started on the huge stone there that was made into a memorial for the confederate generals. It is a eerie, hair raising experience but maybe I felt it more being a "Yankee" in their presense. A good blog but it takes me hours to get off your site lol.
Says Anchorage has about 10 haunted places. I never knew about them. But I have heard some of the stories of the people who died. As far as I know I don't have any poltergeists living with me...LOL
That is awesome! I live in Lacey Washington,.. I had not heard of that story about Nisqually Middle school but I will look it up now lol. I also know of a house in Tumwater that is haunted and also in Port Townsend the old war barracks there at Fort Warden... I've been in there at night and will never go again! Awesome thanks for sharing this with us :)
i am surprised that julian didn't make the list. its an old mining town in san diego county. we lived in lemon grove until 12/06. the kentucky fried chicken deal was a real eye opener. i wish i had known about these places when i was out partying all the time, we would have had a ball!
For the record, I live near James Dean's Grave and used to play at the old East Elementary School in Gas City, Indiana. I'm currently laughing me arse off! Thanks for sharing the spooky mythology! Ciao4now, Shannon
