Always accept new friends no matter who they are ! Gaining new referrals is only part of the  way to earn money from Yuwie. Encourage your friends to see your profile, look at your pictures, read your blogs and leave comments. Rate their pages and message them and get them to do the same to you.

Do not set your profile to private, this is how the whole system works, you need friends and others to view your profile, blogs and pictures. 

Be careful when selecting your page layout. It is very important that all the contents can be read. Browse around and you will see what I'm on about. Some have select a layout that makes their page/pages unreadable. If you do change your page layout check it before you select it to ensure your whole page can be read! Avoid complexed background pictures when using smaller fonts. Keeping things simple and clear will allow viewers to read and see your work clearly.

Look after new referrals, let them know what Yuwie is all about  and encourage them to look after their new referrals.
