| The weather's been very nice, on the hot side lately. It's supposed to start raining sometime today. The Michigan gang, from what I've heard, left to go home at around 8:00 this morning. It's about a ten_hour trip for them. Only David is left from their crowd. He's the official computer geek of the bunch. There's been an extremely seriously drastic difference in circumstances since the end of the big Fourth of July bash. The sudden halt in all the hyper_activity really stands out like a very boring sore thumb. I enjoy it entirely while it's still going on each year, but desperately need rest once it's over with. The only catch about the rest is that I then inevitably miss all the activity. Father Walsh has no Masses over at St. Joseph's & O.L.Sorrows this week so last night I made sure I went to 7:00 Mass at St. Anthony's in Exeter. My mother called her friend Ann last night to catch up on all the New York gossip. To my surprise & frustration they spent well over an entire hour on the phone. I've never been even remotely able to stand the phone. Yesterday I made sure I put in my usual amount of time reading & playing my guitar too. |
