| That time of the year again (2 weeks later!) More thoughts about fall seasons | So, 2 weeks into "new season" time, most if (if not all of) the new shows for the year are out.
I didn't expect Stargate Atlantis back for another month or so, but if what Mike says is true, it'll be gone quicker than you know it. Not to spoil it or anything, but someone goes away, and by the current surrounding of the show, you can probably guess whom. That makes 2 characters lost in the past year, and this new one a "somewhat" important one (note: I did say somewhat). Not impressive at all, Sci-Fi!
For those that liked the BuffyVerse , you may be interested in watching moonlight, though it looks like we've only got 5 episodes so far. Maybe CBS is hedging it's bets? We'll see. I missed the first episode, but thanks to my trusty tivo/unbox combo, got it for free (commercial free even). More broody vampires, more stories, we'll see if this one pulls it off well, but the first episode, not so bad.
Kelsey Grammer's back with back to you. Apparently cheers AND frasier didn't make the man enough money, so he's trying it again? Kind of dry humour, but we'll see just how long fox lets this one go. Hopefully, they'll pull a typical "fox" and cancel this one early, though they tend to let the worst shows run WAY past their time (American Idol , anyone?)
Journeyman seems to have the most episodes ordered, so we may just see more of that than expected, but for the love of GOD people, can we pick this show up a bit? Drag on and on and on and lose people. I mean, within the first 5 minutes of the second show, I was already on the other tuner (tivo), and let it run it's course before watching it fully. While this one seems to be the highest rated (@ tv.com), it's really not going to pick up much if it doesn't pick up the pace.
Chuck seems to be doing pretty well, but only 5 episodes again. Maybe it's studios being nervous, maybe, well, who knows what it is. It would be nice to see some balls from television studios though. Here they put these shows in front of us, and then take them away because they think (note: think) they're not doing well enough. 5 episodes is hardly enough to get people's anticipation up. Of course, this is typical Fox action, but not NBC or CBS.
Either Earl has been picked up for a fourth season (wouldn't surprise me) or someone's just playing more games, because these guys have a 4th season listed (no episodes yet). Of course, I'm sooooo going to watch this show, partly because I've watched it for a couple years now (damn you michael), partly because she's in the Oct. 18th episode. Yummy!
House, well, he's House, what do you expect? The first couple of episodes were amusing, we'll see what he can pull off with the rest of the season. Of COURSE I knew he didn't get rid of the whole team (oops, haven't seen the second episode yet?), though the hallucinations were rather amusing. DID he , after all, see Foreman? I guess we'll have to wait and see there, right? According to tv.com, though, Foreman is, in fact, in another hospital. We'll see ;).
Bones started off interestingly enough, and the hot female fed, well, deeeefinitely hot! Angela's reaction to it was, well, I guess it was one that you didn't expect ;). We'll see how these guys pick up the season, but it's great to see Angel (David Boreanaz) doing good work.
And that, folks, concludes this evening's entry.
By the way, for those looking for me to follow up on my myspace blogs, don't count on it. They're now censoring certain words, simply because it's competition. The contributors (those that write stuff) actually get censored for mentioning something as simple as yuwie.com . Yes, folks, YUWIE, the myspace alternative that PAYS for people viewing your page. I guess myspace can be labeled well as "doesn't play well with others". For now, you can catch the latest entry (as always) on my homepage wolfstream.net, or you can check out my yuwie page for more. I'll try to keep the second one updated, but the first is guaran-damn-teeed to be updated.
Peace out kids!

 | That time of the year. Fall season predictions right here! | What time of the year would that be? Well, fall "tv" season, AKA "This show won't last season". For me, the season began just over a week ago, when I grabbed and downloaded the following from Amazon. Yeah, for FREE b***hes! Amazon does crazy s**t like give video away for free, imagine that!
< src="http://www.amazon.com:/gp/ays/embed/container.html?view=ATV;C;tivo:bd.1BPeiUbv599W4AEm3ZOVZU1xzNaQ-&terms=&count=6&targetCustomerId=A3EVSZSUWFBCXP&showTitle=1&imageSize=a.i.at&selection=recent&orientation=landscape" height="122" width="400">>
Actually, truth be told, this is the first year (AFAIK) that they've done this, but hey, it looks sweet.
Scrubs? Final season  Not like we didn't know it was coming but scrubs is done with the end of this season. 7 (or is it 8 now?) seasons is great for a show that good though, so they've had their fun and time to move on.
How I met Your Mother: If the episode title is any indication, Barney should be opening with the required "dary", but we'll see, we'll see. Dunno how they're gonna pull the show out of where they left it, but again, hey, mystery my friends, mystery!
Jericho: 7 episodes? ya GOTTA be kidding me, seriously! Only 7? Yeah, well, who knew right? They've got a LOT of work to do to catch up to where THEY left off last year, and I do hope to hell it's not the LAST season, but hey, we'll see.
House: What can be said about the man except that he's an ass! Seriously, what can be said? He fires his staff, and (not to ruin the s**t), they come BACK to work for him! WTF?!?!?!?!? This one's gonna be amusing.
Heroes: It looks like they're going to open up where they left off last year, and Mikey was wrong, because they're bringing back damn near everyone. At least for the first episode. We'll see about more than that.
Atlantis: Not ONLY do they get Carter (sweet) but they get Kaylee as well. mmmmm, that show needed a few more females in it anyways ;)
Smallville: All I got to say is burn it. Seriously, that show is dead, let it go people. Still recording it just for the hell of it, but it's dead
Bones: hrrm, no marriage at the end of last season? WTF? Where will it all open up? Welcome to drama gang!
Ok, that's all (I think) for the old s**t. Of course I probly left out a show or two, but wth, I'll remember it eventually. New s**t:
My predictions (and I'm rarely right, so keep that in mind) Chuck, Journeyman, Bionic Woman are keepers The first two are actually decent shows. The third I think they'll keep just because people are sentimental that way. The show reeks, seriously, but we'll see what is done of it
Life, that's iffy. Personally, I'd LOVE to see it kept, but it's got no oomf to it. I have two more downloaded now to my tivo (thank you tivo, you're my friend), will update when I get those done through and read.
Peace out b***hes!
