| I haven't been here for many reasons. | I have been busy on Gather still. And, have been making connections, and trying to get my life on track. And, now my husband is in the hospital bleeding, and no one knows why yet. They have to flush out his system, because whatever the problem is, it started in his Gastro intestinal system. Or in other words, his stomach. I hope all my friends will wish me some luck, and send some positive energy my way. And, most of all pray that his condition is not too serious. Thanks everyone who reads this and hears my plea. Hugs to everyone. And, bless those who respond.

 | My writing | I have been on gather.com and I have been writing up a storm. I truly want to be published so I am workiing seriously on that goal.. I have truly missed my friends that is why I am writing this to keep all of you up to date. So far I have written five articles and have published eight images. You can even post your own videos on there.
If anyone on Yuwie would like some referrals www.gather.com is the place to go. You can write an article on yuwie telling everyone what it's all about. Or you can publish your yuwie video and get people to come that way. Just put your referral link on your article and have your friends go there to see your video.
I have not had the chance to do so yet as I am just writing and putting my story excerpts on there right now. But, this is great advice so I thought I would share. And, if anyone loves writing like I do, then please feel free to visit my profile and join.
My link is www.angel451977.gather.com . Hope to see you there.

 | EJ/JQ BB drabble Title: Honest people don't hide their deeds |
|
Cassius, or Clay as most people called him panted as sweat poured down his face. He felt on fire today which could be considered ironic since his suit probably resembled the shade his cheeks should be about now, red as the proverbial flames of hell. Not only had his deeds gone virtually unnoticed today, but, this time he considered this job enough of a payback of sorts. You see, it all began with one phrase... "Clay, we just have one too many Santa's today.. I am sorry, but, you'll have to just pick up your paycheck and leave." That prick, Sanford Lee Bradford had been the last straw in the worst day in the history of his life. First, the tires on his pickup had gone flat, then, once at work, the brats in line had been whimpering, simpering, and worst of all, he had been peed on! After finally settling down to his work, the "company" had decided to cut back for Christmas Eve, and he would be the unlucky recipient of the "company's" greed. For that reason alone, was why he stood here in the mall at this time of night, doing his good deed for the day, a present that would last a lifetime. Once they came in the next day, they would see what he thought of their tightwad ways. Clay cursed, his knuckles flaming now, from the sting of his heavy duty hammer. He had missed on his last swing and now he had a swollen thumb to go along with his otherwise crappy day. "Well, hell!" Clay said to himself. Then, he found out that his day could be much worse, for only a moment's warning alerted him a presence behind him, then, he swung around, only to find a two hundred pound guard, with a gun in his hand, a real one, and not a stun gun. "Freeze, punk!" Clay froze, raising his hands, as well as the hammer at the same time. The guard obviously took offense, for he shouted, "Drop your weapon at once!" A few seconds passed before Clay realized what he meant, and he dropped the hammer, which happened to land straight on his toe, and he yelped in pain. The guard, came forward shining a flashlight in his face, then, he swung the light toward where Clay had left his present. The guard a once fierce foe, began laughing, and lowering his gun. "I believe you have suffered enough Mister." Clay did not understand what could be so funny, then he did a double take as he realized what he had done. The sign he wanted to deface, the one he rearranged in the dark ended up saying the most ridiculous thing... Instead of the sign saying, "Go to hell, you cheap bastards!, the sign proclaimed, that no matter how pressed you are for Christmas shopping these days, you will find that there are people to guide you on your way.. And, honest people don't hide their deeds."

 | Drabble:EJ/JQ BB Title:It's not the life in your years that count... | A drabble from Eliosa James/Julia Quinn BB..
"I want to get in your pants."
Brandon's head snapped up, his gaze sharpening on Sally, his nearest and closest friend in the whole world, and her tone of voice, along with her smoky desire laden voice, alerted him that her request was more than serious. "Huh?"
"You heard me big boy... Now, take off your jeans."
Shaking his head, he tried to clear it, and his nose scrunched up in annoyance. "Sally, are you on drugs?"
Flipping her straight, pale blond hair over her shoulder, Sally strutted toward him with a sexy sway to her hips. Her lips tipped up slightly, her green eyes pierced through him. "I am blessedly sober Brandon dear, I just know what I want.. Have wanted it for years."
Again, he thought, he must be hallucinating. "Sally, get out of here!"
Two more steps, and she stood in front of him, her palm rubbing his shoulder, an intense smoldering tint came into her brown tinted irises. "I am serious Brandon.. I am not leaving here until you give me what I want.. Something you what as much as I do.."
Brandon swallowed hard, as Sally, rubbed her palms down, coming to the button of his fly. "Now, remove these at once!.. Because darling... You should not let life pass you by.. And, in the end.. It is not the life in your years that count.."
Sally took her fingers, unbuttoning him, with the flick of her wrist, her smile pure deviltry now. "It's the life in your years."
Note:500 word limit and use the sentence in your story. In italics yet again. | | Posted: Wednesday, 26 March, 2008 at 11:14 | Read 69 times | 0 comments | Leave Comment |
