 | Not a Yuwie member? READ THIS! | If you haven't already become a Yuwie member, here are some reasons you should join today:
- Not only is Yuwie 100% FREE, but it's also the first social networking website that actually PAYS you to use it. Yep, it's true! Every month, Yuwie shares half of its advertising revenue with users like you and me. How's that for cool? If you're familiar with sites like Myspace, Facebook, and Friendster, you'll feel right at home with Yuwie because it works the same way. So why not sign up and get paid to do what you're already doing?
- This is where it gets even better. When you refer your friends to Yuwie (you DO have friends, don't you?), you'll make even more money. Seriously! Not only are you getting paid to view profiles, read blogs, and look at pictures, you'll also get paid when your friends sign up and do these things too.
- But wait! There's more! (I always wanted to say that.) Once your friends start to refer their friends, you'll make money from that too, and it goes all the way down to 10 levels! So if you tell three friends, and they tell three friends, and they tell three friends, and so on, and so on... (Remember that old shampoo commercial?) Well, I think you can see where I'm going with this. After you refer a few of your friends, it starts to multiply like crazy. Before you know it, you'll have thousands of people who are all making money for YOU!
- Unlike Myspace and Yahoo, Yuwie is NOT owned by Rupert Murdoch and News Corp. That guy already owns about half the newspapers, magazines, and broadcasting stations on the planet. And unlike Yuwie, he's not sharing his profits with us. Seriously, he already has more money than he could possibly spend in a thousand lifetimes, so the hell with him!
So that pretty much sums it up.

Here's an excerpt from a BBC Article About Yuwie:
Some say this is little more than a technological version of the reviled pyramid scheme.
However,
Korry Rogers, a web designer from Oklahoma, disputes this because he
says he does not charge his members, unlike traditional pyramid schemes.
He insists he does not want people to join Yuwie just to make money.
"I want people to join because it’s a good networking site not because I’m paying them.
"I just think it’s a cool idea to pay the users who are providing all the content, " he says.
The site is certainly proving popular for those who do not mind lots of pop-ups and flashy graphics.
Yuwie users apparently love adverts, though, because "they know they will share in the revenue".
Since launching in July, Yuwie already has 344,444 registered members, with nearly 50,000 joining in December alone.
Yuwie is now ranked among one of the top 2,500 websites in the world, according to alexa . com, which tracks web traffic.
As
you can see from the stats below, this is the best time to get in.
Yuwie is very small at the moment, compared to over 227 *million*
members on Myspace. This means there is lots of room for growth, and it
will make it much easier to build a long line of referrals. So get on
it. You will regret it one day if you don’t...
Yuwie Member Statistics as of 3/12/2008:
Total Members: 528,842 New This Month: 24,271 New Today: 1,162

 | The Fisherman and The Investment Banker | The Fisherman and The Investment Banker Author Unknown
The American investment banker was at the pier of a small coastal Mexican village when a small boat with just one fisherman docked. Inside the small boat were several large yellow fin tuna. The American complimented the Mexican on the quality of his fish and asked how long it took to catch them.
The fisherman replied, only a little while.
The American then asked why didn't he stay out longer and catch more fish?
The Mexican said he had enough to support his family's immediate needs.
The American then asked, "but what do you do with the rest of your time?"
The Mexican fisherman said, "I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, take siesta with my wife, Maria, stroll into the village each evening where I sip wine and play guitar with my amigos, I have a full and busy life."
The American scoffed, "I am a Harvard MBA and could help you. You should spend more time fishing and with the proceeds, buy a bigger boat with the proceeds from the bigger boat you could buy several boats, eventually you would have a fleet of fishing boats. Instead of selling your catch to a middleman you would sell directly to the processor, eventually opening your own cannery. You would control the product, processing and distribution. You would need to leave this small coastal fishing village and move to Mexico City, then LA and eventually NYC where you will run your expanding enterprise."
The Mexican fisherman asked, "But, how long will this all take?"
To which the American replied, "15-20 years."
"But what then?"
The American laughed and said that's the best part. "When the time is right you would announce an IPO and sell your company stock to the public and become very rich, you would make millions."
"Millions.. Then what?"
The American said, "Then you would retire. Move to a small coastal fishing village where you would sleep late, fish a little, play with your kids, take siesta with your wife, stroll to the village in the evenings where you could sip wine and play your guitar with your amigos."
