CREDIT CARD TIP & The truth about your Credit Score

When you finally pay off a credit card bill, don't cancel it. Here's why:

Cancelling your credit card will LOWER your credit rating! That's right. Even though you'd think quite the opposite, when a credit card gets cancelled (even on your own initiative) the banks just don't like it. Banks actually prefer if you have lots of open credit cards with low or no balances. Really! Closing your credit card makes your credit rating go down, but the rates you pay to have a credit card go up.

So if you want a good credit rating (and lower interest rates):
1. Pay your bills on time.
2. Pay off the balances.
3. Don't create new credit card debt.
4. MOST IMPORTANTNLY: Keep cards open!

TIP: If you're not good with credit cards, but aren't ready to cut them up just yet, then put them in a tupperware filled with water or use a baggie and freeze them. That way you have to thaw them out  (giving you good time to think before you spend).

Here's wishing you financial happiness!

$700 Billion Bailout?! No way!

It's time to pay back the debt to restore our country and Democrats are the only one who can do it!

Remember that under the Democratic leadership of President Clinton we had ther longest period of peace-time economic expansion in American history -- the Democrats balanced the budget and a reported federal surplus! Today America's debt is over $9 trillion (which means each American owes $31,642*).

Do not allow Republicans to pass the $700 billion bailout plan. Think about your future. Social Security is a $608 billion annual program. The Republicans want to sink deeper in debt.

Yuwie should vote for the Democratic party in November! That's my two cents worth

How to Save $800 a month (so you can invest in a business opportunity)

RECESSION RESCUE! Everyone should watch how one family saved $800 a month. It's a quick video by ABC News without any commercials, so check it out now at:
http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/up/player/popup/?cl=7044786

Here are 10 ways to help a family save $800 a month:

1. Switch banks to avoid those pesky $1-$3 ATM fees. There are banks with free services. Use them!
2. Don't eat out! Breakfast, lunch, and a snack here or there -- the couple profiled could save as much as $400 a month by dashing before dining out. So can you. Think about it.
3. Limit home entertainment. Cut premium channels. The couple profiled had four premium channels. One should be enough. Perhaps you rent one too many videos. Borrow from friends instead -- or go to the library to borrow for free.
4. Summarize household expenditures. Many couples don't realize what other half is spending. The wife was shocked to learn that her husband was spending $180 a month on video games!
5. Avoid overdraft fees by regularly balancing checkbook. The couple perhaps should have separate checking accounts, but that's another story.
6. Pay off credit cards! Okay you don't like to hear this one, but pay your credit cards on time and pay more than the minumum due. We suggest you put your credit card in water and then in the freezer. This way you will have to think a long time before spending on it, yet it will be available for emergencies. Believe me, it is sublime when you don't owe a dime! =-) I don't owe a dime!
7. Take advantage of flexible spending accounts at work. The couple could save as much as $1,500 a year!
8. Buy Gas at "Cash Only" stations. Gas is really cheaper if you at the stations that pass along savings because they don't pay the credit card commissions. So pay cash and know that these stations often even have a surcharge on debit cards!
9. Cancel magazine and newspaper subscr i ptions --Everything is available online for free, so why pay for magazines?
10. Cut the caffeine when you leave home! A latte can run $4 day, and if you're drinking 4-5 times a week you can save $80 a month). Say goodbye Starbucks! That's almost $1,000 a year!

Make Money Shopping eBay and Referring Friends

Recommendations: Anyone who's already shopping eBay should register for Big Crumbs. It pays us up to 36% of the seller's fees whenever we buy something on eBay, but it also pays us when someone we refer shops on eBay or when any of us shop online at another participating retailer.

Step one: Visit this exciting Portal to cash now.  Review the short video. Then to see the potential, visit the sites' calculator in the right hand column. The potential to make hundreds a month from this site is easily attainable. It's free, so get started now.

Step two: Sign up for an account -- it only takes a minute. We recommend you choose the “Crumb Earner” account type, so you can cash in from others signing up. Now you are ready to start getting cash back on all of your eBay purchases!

Step three: Whenever you shop on eBay, go through the Big Crumbs web site first. They will redirect you to eBay, and whenever you make a purchase, you will get cash back sent directly to your PayPal account!

Step four: Refer others. You can make the big bucks when people you refer sign up and shop on eBay, so be sure to tell others about this site (especially if you sell on eBay).

You can refer others through
social networking sites, like we do here at Yuwie! While you don't make money referring others, you do make money when the people you refer shop. It's fun and it's free, so give it a try now.
