How do I get paid?

You have a choice of 2 ways.
Paypal. Paypal is an online payment processing company owned by EBay. Very secure, very reliable, very well know.
We can send you a check. If you choose this method, there is a $1 processing fee to cover postage, and other overhead.

2.What actually counts as a paid page view?

Answer / Solution

When anyone views any of these pages, it counts as 1 page view for you:
your profile page
your blog pages
view all your friends
view all your comments
your picture pages
if someone views one of your shared layouts
When you view any of these pages, it counts as 1 page view.
any of your control panel pages, including but not limited to: settings, messaging, friends, referrals, favorites, etc.
The following does not count as a page view:
Refreshing/reloading a page
Any page that's viewed within 3 seconds of the last page doesn't count


3.What is a personal URL?

Answer / Solution

A personal URL is just a shortcut to get to your profile page. This can be anything you want as long as it only contains numbers and letters. Its best to make it something like a first name, nickname, etc.

4.Is there a limit on how many account one house can have?

Answer / Solution

No. We have no per household limits. However, we do only allow 1 account per person.

5.How do I know how many paid page views I'm getting?

Answer / Solution

In your control panel there are some stats next to your picture. The paid page views are listed under Month Page Views. These are the ones that count.

You: is how many times your pages (profiles, pictures, movies, etc) have been viewed PLUS how many personal page views you have accumulated in your control panel area.

Referral Views: is how many paid page views your referrals have racked up.

These numbers are just so you have a rough estimate of how much activity your referral tree is doing. At the end of each month a full report is generated that shows you how many page views were accumulated on each level for the month.

6.How can I get more page views?

Answer / Solution

The best way to get more page views is to add more content to your profile. Leave comments for friends, upload more pictures, and maintain an active blog. All of this activity will cause more people to view more pages on your profile. The more active you are, the more page views you'll get. Remember, whenever you add something to your profile, all your friends get notified through their friend feed.

7.Who is Y Guy and why is he on my friends list?

Answer / Solution

He's the Yuwie mascot. His profile is automatically added to every Yuwie member. His profile will have answers to questions, site notices, updates, etc.

8.How do I change my layout?

Answer / Solution

Go to your control panel, click "edit profile" then click the layout tab. Once you're there, you can either choose on of the existing templates, or you can click the "create a new template link".

If you want to create a new template, you can either use:
Template Generator - with the generator you can choose colors, and styles for each section of your profile.
Advanced Editor - This is where you copy and paste layouts from other sites.

9.Why can't I see my earnings for the current month?

Answer / Solution

We can't show you the current month's earnings, because the RSR for each month can't be determined until all of the earnings and page views are calculated at the end of the month.

Each month's earnings reports will be generated around the 10th of the following month.


10.How can I get more referrals?

Answer / Solution

We have a couple suggestions:
Add your referral link to your email signature. That way, every email you send will have your referral link in it.
Add your referral link to your message board signatures.
Post your referral link on the profile pages on your other social networking accounts.
You can find your referral link in the referral tools section.

Spamming is a violation of our terms and could cause your account to be banned.

Beer contains female hormones

Last month, National University of Lesotho scientists released the results of a recent analysis that revealed the presence of female hormones in beer. Men should take a concerned look at their beer consumption. The theory is that beer contains female hormones (hops contain phytoestrogens) and that by drinking enough beer, men turn into women. To test the theory, 100 men drank 8 pints of beer each within a 1 hour period. It was then observed that 100% of the test subjects:
1) Argued over nothing.
2) Refused to apologize when obviously wrong.
3) Gained weight.
4) Talked excessively without making sense.
5) Became overly emotional.
6) Couldn't drive.
7) Failed to think rationally.
8) Had to sit down while urinating.
