Inspiration For Today!!!!!


I was singing this past weekend at Fort Falls and I was inspired by a young girl about 18 years old. She approached me when I was taking a break from singing with questions about the music business. She was telling me that she always dreamed of being a singer and didn't know how to get started. I told her about my experiences and how I had went through hard times but you can't give up on your dreams.

That girl blessed me when she told me that she really loved my voice and music, that is what singing is about, sharing a part of yourself through your music and inspiring others to feel what you feel. I love singing at Fort Falls, the people in Olive Hill are very good people. I have been welcome since I bought my house and moved here, it is small but beautiful. If you ever get to go camping, go to Carter Caves state park, there is a lot to do and it is very beautiful to look at.

I just want to say thank you to all my Fans for there Inspiration they give me every day to keep doing what I Love to do. May God Bless and Keep You, I appreciate you!

Sherri Lynn Sang Country / Gospel Music At A Hard Rock Open Mic!

It was a great time at Lizards Tavern in Indianapolis, Indiana on Thursday Night Open Mic! The place was considered as a Hard Rock style of music for this tavern but on April 16th. I sang Country and Gospel music and the crowd loved it. I felt so comfortable there and very welcome. The Owner, Dennis said he loved my music and had me sing 4 more songs, one of them is my new song that is being released world wide called; "His Will Be Done."

You will love this video, I just couldn't believe how good Mark and Ashley did with video tapping and What Ashley did Producing this video is amazing.

Remember it is live footage of our trip to Indiana and it was so much fun. Mike and Shirley Caron my Promoters are such good people and they really took good care of us. We all greatly appreciate them and Cliff Ayers for Making my dreams come true!

I also want to think everyone who was working at Lizards Tavern, they took great care of my whole table and made us feel welcome. Thanks to Dennis the owner for hooking my music back up and asking me to sing 4 more songs, Gospel songs that is, I greatly Appreciate it and May God Bless You.

I want to share with you my new video on youtube, I know it is a little dark and the sound is not perfect but to me it is perfect because it is a blessing to be able for me to get the opportunity to sing again. I hope that all my fans like it; we had fun making it.

 

I sang at Lizards Tavern on Open Mic night and yes I was singing Country / Gospel in a Hard Rock Tavern but they all said they loved it. We were in...........

 

for orientation to sing May 2nd at the 500 Mini-Marathon Festival. Plus we went to Noodles & Company and ate did some Promotions and the food and service was the best, Zac was our server and he did a great job. I thank God for making all this Possible. Sherri Lynn Sings At The 500 Festival.......

Sherri Lynn Sings At The 500 Festival In Indianapolis Indiana on May 2nd, 2009!


The 33rd 500 Festival, Mini-Marathon in Indiana was one of the best experiences of a life time. It felt great cheering on the Runners and all the other people as they walked around with signs cheering on there favorite runners.

I really had a lot of fun entertaining the crowds as they went by in front of our section. A few of the runners even came over to the side of the road as I was singing and shock my hand. I even received a high five from one of the runners. I was singing songs from my CD, "All That I Need". Being a singer it made me feel good inside to get that reaction from my music. I was hopping to inspire them with my songs and I felt very good in my heart to know that I did.

I felt very welcome in Indianapolis and will return again next year to do it all again. If you were one of the runners who came by please leave me a comment about that day.

My Mommy's Courage!!!!!

My Mommy's Courage...........


My Mommy's Courage is great, She was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on July 25th, 2008. It is in both breast, limp-nods, and somewhere else in her body. Her blood count is great and her Spirit High. She looked at all her options and got several opinions from a lot of different views about treatment. She decided to stand in faith, changed her diet, fresh fruits and vegetables. Went to a very good friend of mine whom trained in Natural herbs and Vitamins.


My Mommy's Courage is, She wants to Live the rest of her days with the best quality of life she can and stand in Faith. She said, "We all die someday and go to be with God." I stand with her in Her choice and admire Her for her Strength and Courage. She said, "Nothing in Life has Guarantees except God, You make the best of it down here help others and trust God."


I have been so Blessed with an amazing Mother, She has such strength and great Faith going through all this. I stand behind her and will help and encourage Her a long the way. I believe Faith & Love are the keys with support to see Her through.


I am very grateful for My Mother I was Blessed with knowing all My Life. I couldn't have asked for a better Mother. If you have a Loved one who has been diagnosed with Cancer, it's tough on everyone. Just give them all the support, Love and help them keep up there Faith and Hope. This is a shocking time in there life. I hope this helps some one else to have Hope.
That is why I wrote about My Mommy's Courage.
