| My Traffic Exchange breaks 200 members, Ham Radio Classes | I was pleased to see that my traffic exchange has broken 200 members today. I've been working at this for about a month, so I guess maybe I'm doing something right.
Need to spend some time on the radio soon, though I've been away from it for a while. Will probably get in the Northwest 10 meter net on Friday night. Have a meeting on Saturday, I will be doing some instructing for Ham Radio License Classes in a couple weeks. Anyone in Everett, WA area can find out about them on www.wa7law.com

 | Nice Trip | Managed to fix my problems Saturday night and went on a visit to the Gingko Petrified Forest on Sunday. Very cool, a nice hike about to see the different types of petrified trees. There was fir, spruce, walnut, etc. many different species along the trail as you hike. Stopped at the little gem shop nearby and got a few pieces of petrified wood as souveniers.

 | Murphy's Law is real | Just when you think everything is ok. Murphy's law comes around and bites you. I had scheduled some time off of work, made hotel reservations, and was all ready to go on Sunday morning when....
6PM Saturday night my boss calls-- hey I can't send mail from my email at home to work. After looking into it for a bit, it seems my new server installation 2 weeks ago wasn't sending DNS to the ISP. It's about 11:30 PM now and I think I've got it resolved, but can't tell for sure until some time has gone by for name servers to uplink and downlink to each other.
If I don't make another post tomorrow then I guess things turned out ok, otherwise, Murphy got the best of me. | | Posted: 10/14/2007 at 01:18 | Read 11 times | 1 comment | Leave Comment |
